George Maniatis Senior Researcher Unit of Sectoral Studies Τel: 210 9211220 E-mail: maniatis@iobe.gr   He was born in Athens in 1975. He graduated from the department of Statistics and Insurance Science, Piraeus University in 1997 and received a Masters degree in Applied Economics and Economic Policy from the University of Athens in 2000. He has worked as research associate at IOBE and as economist at the General Directorate, Hellenic Competition Commission. From July 2007, he is senior researcher at the Sectoral Studies Unit of IOBE.
