He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and has worked as a mechanical engineer in design and supervision of electromechanical infrastructure and networks in the building sector. He received a M.Sc. degree in Economic Theory and pursuing a doctoral degree at Athens University of Economics and Business in Industrial Organization.
