She was born in Athens. She graduated from Panteion University of Political and Social Sciences obtaining her B.Sc. in International Relations and EU Affairs, in 1992. After a year along with a group of new International Law Experts she attended special training courses on the developments in the new international environment, in the Institute of International Relations of Panteion University.

In December 2001 she obtained her MBA from the Athens Laboratory of Business Administration (ALBA professional MBA program).

She started working in 1993 in the Center of Economic Research of the Athens University of Economics and Business, as research assistant in a Human Capital and Mobility EU Project. In 1994, she was employed by Exelixi Ltd, a consulting company, to join the Human Resource and Training department.

From 1995 to 1997, she was holding the position of Executive Assistant in the Athens Institute for Economic Policy Studies. She was responsible for dealing with various operational and administrative issues, coordinating the research staff and the research fellows so as to promote the relations with similar research organization in Europe and the USA. She also had the opportunity to enrich her knowledge and experience as she was following up the implementation of research projects and the participation in several European academic networks. Moreover, she was responsible for organizing several international academic seminars, workshops and forum.

Since 1997, she holds the position of Chief Administrative Officer in the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE). Her responsibilities include, financial planning and budgeting of the Foundation, co-ordination and supervision of the administrative staff, establishment and development of relations with Media, similar research organizations in Greece and abroad, promotion of IOBE’s research publications and research activities and the organization of Public Events (Seminars, Conferences, Workshops etc.).
