Antonis holds a B.Sc. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Applied Econometrics and Data Analysis (University of Patras), as well as a PhD from the University of Magdeburg (2021). Ηe worked as a researcher at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH–Halle), where he contributed to policy notes and led a small research team on a project developing contemporaneous house price indices across European countries and regions (2016-2020). In 2018, he was a guest researcher at the German National Bank (Deutsche Bundesbank), where he co-authored a study examining the credit supply responses of German regional banks to fiscal shocks in real estate markets. He has taught finance and applied econometrics (University of Magdeburg and the American College of Greece) and has published in peer-reviewed academic journals. He joined IOBE in 2021. His research focuses on housing markets, household finance, and income inequality.
