Yiannis Retsos
Chairman of the BoD
Yiannis Retsos graduated from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and received his M.P.S. in Hotel Management from CORNELL University with a degree in Hospitality Real Estate Finance. He is the CEO and one of the main shareholders of Electra Hotels & Resorts, a company with six hotels in Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes & Kefallonia), currently constructing the seventh in Thessaloniki. Since 2020, he has been serving as a member of the General Council of The Bank of Greece. He served as President of the Greek Tourism Confederation and Marketing Greece (2017-2023). He served as President of the Hellenic Hoteliers Federation(2011-2017) and as President of the Athens-Attica-Argosaronic Hoteliers Association (2009-2012). He is the Chairman of the BoD of IOBE, since October 2024.
