Panayiotis Thomopoulos

He has served in senior positions in Greece and internationally. He participated/led in many negotiations with Greek and foreign organizations. He has served as a senior economic expert at the OECD. He participated in the meetings of the General Board of the ECB and the European Monetary Institute. He has served as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Greece, Head of the Banking Supervision Department, Representative of the Bank of Greece to the EU Economic and Monetary Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Interbank Systems S.A.” (DIAS). He has also served as Chairman of the Financial Stability Fund and Chairman of Eurobank.
