George Margonis
Chairman and Managing Director of Papastratos
Chairman and Managing Director of Papastratos, leading Greece, Cyprus, and Malta. After studying Marketing and Business Administration, he began his career in Greece by holding commercial positions in marketing, communication, and sales. In 2001 he joined Papastratos assuming positions in the Commercial Operations department and in 2009 he joined the Philip Morris International headquarters in Switzerland to direct the European Sales Strategy. He returned to Greece in the position of the Director of Marketing and Sales for Papastratos until May 2014, when he was appointed Director of Sales for Greece, Cyprus, and Malta. From 2017 until recently, he was the CEO of PMI in Bulgaria while participating actively in local and international business community institutional bodies. In March 2023, he was appointed CEO of Papastratos.
