The subject of the study is the examination of the Health Price Index of EL.STAT. as an indicator for the development of premiums and compensations for private health insurance sector. The scope of the study is to highlight any features and potentially weaknesses in the calculation of the Health Price Index related to the private health insurance sector, and in particular related to premiums and compensations.
