In this study we examine the growth prospects of the chemical industry in Greece in the medium term, along with the challenges that the industry faces and the necessary conditions for its further development. In this context, we assess the broader impact of the chemical industry on the Greek economy, we examine the main determinants of competitiveness in the industry and we propose measures and initiatives that could support the sustainable development of the chemical industry in Greece, accounting for the particularly intense global competitive environment in which it operates
