Aluminium is used in a wide range of industrial and other applications in many branches of economic activity, such as construction, packaging and car manufacturing. In Greece, the aluminium sector includes large capital-intensive industrial plants for the production of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, as well as labour-intensive small businesses operating in the manufacture and fitting of building products from aluminium throughout the Greek territory.
