From 2014 to 2022, HEMEXPO companies achieved remarkable growth in turnover, exports, and employment. Their contribution to the Greek economy in 2022 reached €2 billion (GDP) and supported 13,400 full-time jobs, highlighting their strategic role in both domestic and international markets. The purpose of the study is to quantify the impacts of TAP on the Greek economy. The study investigates the direct and the broader effects on output, gross value added and jobs across all the sectors of the Greek economy from the construction and operation of TAP. The scope of the study includes a breakdown of the benefits at regional level and in particular for each of the regions in Northern Greece that host sections of TAP (East Macedonia and Thrace, Central Macedonia, West Macedonia).
