The scope of the study is to assess the growth and fiscal impact on the Greek economy from the concession and the proposed development of the Hellinikon area. The analysis indicates that the development of the area of the former airport will have multiple positive effects on the domestic economy. The growth, fiscal and wider social and cultural impact of the project will contribute strongly to the upgrade of the urban areas of Attica, providing at the same a significant boost to the growth of the Greek economy.
