This online workshop attempts to initiate discussions and exchange of views amongst stakeholders from Southern European countries -Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Spain- regarding the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF). Stakeholders include representatives from the public administration, academia, private companies, industry associations, and think tanks.  

The event is organized by PromethEUs network, an independent research netwrok, which brings together the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research – IOBE (Greece), I-Com, Institute for Competitiveness (Italy), the Elcano Royal Institute (Spain), and the Institute of Public Policy – IPP (Portugal).

The event is framed within the joint paper that PromethEUs network is elaborating on the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) and the respective Recovery and Resilience Plans of Southern EU countries, focusing on digital transition. In this line, the event will have a policy analysis perspective focusing on the following areas:  

• Spain’s Recovery and Resilience Plan  
• Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan 
• Portugal’s Recovery and Resilience plan 
• Greece’s Recovery and Resilience Plan
