| This study examines the potential effects of the excise duty for alcohol convergence to the European average, for both the economy and employment, ensuring fiscal neutrality. In addition, the effects of a possible reduction of excise duty for final consumers, the competitiveness of tourism, domestic production and the illegal trade reduction are specified. |
