| Improving the Internship Scheme in the Educational Sector |

| In Greece, there are different state regulations about internship during studies in each educational level. The regulations are explained in the first chapter of the survey. Internship regulations as well as best practices from other European countries are cited next. Proposals for the improvement of Greece’s regulations are made, based mainly on them. Taking into account the fiscal consolidation process and potential financing limitations in the future from the EU Structural Funds, alternative financing opportunities are traced. The study ends by highlighting branches of economic activity with the best growth prospects in the near future and with high demand for specialised labour force. |
