| The purpose of this study is twofold. First, the study examines the changes that have occurred in the key operation figures of the education system before and after the outbreak of the crisis in 2009. Second, the study analyses the impact of demographic changes that have occurred after the onset of the crisis on the future evolution of the key operation figures of the Greek education system. The analysis of the developments and changes that have taken place before and after the onset of the crisis, together with the exploration of future impacts and prospects, highlights better and more fully the long-term effects of the economic crisis on the education system in Greece. |
