| The transition to a circular economy is the only solution for reducing material footprint and waste generation. The production models need to be redefined, while consumption must follow more sustainable patterns. In this dimension, implementing the investments foreseen by the Greek strategies and the circular transformation of the production processes entail benefits for the Greek economy. The study identifies opportunities and challenges from the transition to a new, circular model, while it estimates the impact for the Greek economy from activities that support the achievement of the national policy.
